After food and clothing, housing is a fundamental necessity for every individual. However, in today's world, owning a well-equipped home remains a distant dream for many hardworking professionals and small business owners. Despite their significant contribution to the nation’s economy, they often find themselves forced to live in unauthorized and temporary settlements due to financial limitations. These areas usually lack essential facilities such as proper sewage systems, water connections, parks, playgrounds, and parking spaces. Moreover, these homes are at constant risk of demolition due to legal complications, putting their lifetime savings in jeopardy.
Understanding the critical need for housing, the Uttar Pradesh government has prioritized making homes accessible to all income groups, recognizing it as a crucial step for social and economic development. While both the central and state governments have introduced several schemes to provide affordable housing to low and very low-income families, there was no specific initiative catering to the needs of lower-middle-income families.

Given the limited resources available, the government alone could not bridge this housing gap. To address this challenge, a state urban housing and habitat policy was introduced, focusing on providing affordable housing solutions with the participation of private developers. This initiative aims to ensure that lower-middle-income families can own homes equipped with all essential amenities. With this vision, Affordable Housing Projects has taken the initiative to develop quality and budget-friendly homes under government-backed schemes, making homeownership a reality for thousands of families.
